About Legend Hills

Legend Hills is a family-owned and operated orchard now in it’s fifth generation. In 1947, at age 17, Richard Hoar took over the management of the extensive peach and apple orchards his father planted in 1926. Since then, he expanded the orchard and built the current farm market.  The family manages approximately 340 acres, including the original 168 acres that have remained in the family for over 100 years. Today, at one time or another, the second, third, fourth, and fifth generations of family can be found picking, pruning, thinning, and selling fresh produce.
